New Year’s first meeting!

Happy New Year!

Thank you all for a wonderful first meeting of the year today. It was such a joy to spend time together—we’re getting to know one another better and feeling closer each time. Here’s a quick recap and a few updates:

📚 Community Interest – Adult Korean School

There is interest in starting a Korean school for adults. Pastor Yun shared that we may be able to open an adult Korean school beginning this September. It would be open to the public, so please get ready to help spread the word! We’ll share more details as they become available.

🍽 Serving the Church Lunch – Annual Sunday Lunch

Our group, Harmony would like to serve a Sunday lunch once a year. Since summer tends to be slower, we plan to reserve one Sunday in June, July, or August. Possible menu ideas include tuna, hot dogs, and butter chicken (crockpot) with rice.

• Hyejin – finishing training strong and a smooth transition to West Point on January 28 or 29

• Julian’s mom – returning to Tennessee in February

• Mr. Suh Jaydo – health (Hot Bagel in New Windsor)

• Teo – guidance through the college application process

• Peter – protection from students’ COVID and flu

📖 Spiritual Encouragement

Starting each day with Bible reading in the morning is highly encouraged. The Bible app is a great tool. Let’s make reading God’s Word and praying our top priority each day.

• February 8: Hyejin’s Welcome Party

• We will aim to meet on the first Sunday every other month, but dinner gatherings or party ideas are always welcome!
